Dr. Callan offers comprehensive orthodontic treatment for children, teens and adults. We work closely with your dentist to ensure you are receiving the very best dental and orthodontic care.
Dr. Callan also monitors the transition of the dentition from baby teeth to permanent teeth in many children who are not yet ready for “full braces.” By doing so, we can sometimes reduce the amount of orthodontic treatment needed in the future. Dr. Callan and his staff strive to provide the most compassionate and comprehensive care in a lighthearted atmosphere.

Office Amenities
We want every aspect of your visits with us to be as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Our reception area offers a comfortable setting, current periodicals and children’s books and games. Our treatment area is equipped with ergonomic treatment chairs and music selected from our nostalgic jukebox.
Shuttle Service
In order to help our families with working parents, Dr. Callan is currently offering a shuttle service. The shuttle provides transportation for our patients with braces to their regular appointments from their schools. We work directly with several area schools to make this service run smoothly. The shuttle bus will pick your child up at his/her school on assigned days and times. Once your child has been signed up for the shuttle, they must remain on the bus throughout the school year. We do require a parent to sign an authorization for their child to ride the bus. Please contact our office for more details if you are interested in taking advantage of this FREE service, and to see if your school participates.

Dr. Callan wants to provide you with high quality orthodontic care that is affordable! We offer a number of financing options tailored to suit your needs, such as:

Our office will be happy to file insurance claims for you, and we will assist in determining your optimal benefits.
Delta Dental Patients
If you have Delta Dental Insurance, you may feel like you have to go to an “in-network” or “preferred” provider. We would like you to know that you have a choice and can go wherever you would like to receive your orthodontic care.
While Dr. Callan was an “in-network” provider in the past, we are no longer considered “in-network” due to changes made by Delta Dental. The difference that this distinction makes is very minimal.
In most cases, you will still receive your entire insurance benefit from Delta Dental, whether the provider you select is considered preferred or not. The only difference is that in most cases Delta Dental will send the reimbursement check directly to you rather than sending it to us (your orthodontist). You then have two choices: you may simply endorse the check over to us to be applied to your treatment or you may deposit the Delta Dental check directly into your own account and write us a personal check. That is the extent of the difference.
Just to reiterate – you would receive the same quality of care as we give to all of our patients. Our fees are no higher or lower if you have Delta Dental. The only variation in our fees is based upon the severity of the orthodontic problem, not your insurance status.
Clinton is a small town and we have always been able to pass the affordability of living in a small town onto our patients. In fact, the last time we checked, we were considerably more affordable than the Quad Cities options available.
